文藻外語大學於107年5月1日起推動「減塑優先、無痕飲食」新生活運動，藉由師長帶頭改變校內飲食文化，例如學校重要的大型會議，包括行政會議、主管會議，出席主管皆須自備餐具，不再提供一次性容器的餐盒便當，用共食方式供餐落實無痕飲食，除不製造餐盒垃圾外，降低廚餘與食材之浪費。藉由校園環境的營造，如廣設飲水機、校內餐具租借站、校內餐具洗滌專區建置等，漸次汰除塑膠容器與一次性餐具於校園中，以達到無痕飲食的真意。盼藉此新生活運動，喚起全校教職員生對環境永續覺醒的良知，落實垃圾從源頭減量，減塑由心開始，形成新的校園文化與共識，善盡地球公民的責任。

“The theme for Earth Day, 2018, was “End Plastic Pollution”. From May 1, 2018, our school, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, began promoting a policy of: “Plastic Reduction, Traceless Diet: New Life Movement”.

Faculty and students were encouraged no longer to bring plastic-bottled drinks, disposable chopsticks, and plastic bags to the University. In order to focus on morality and environmental protection, for all kind of meetings, participants should bring their own tableware, and avoid ordering lunches in disposable containers but order food that doesn’t come in plastic bags or with throw-away utensils. Drinking fountains, tableware rental stations and utensil washing areas are now available throughout the campus.

To promote the University’s New Life Movement, the Wenzao Student Union took the lead in posting a short version of questions about the Movement on YouTube ( https://youtu.be/B1GxnUY0fJM ) to encourage all students to always be ready to protect the environment.

This new initiative of reducing plastics and food waste is not only about simply promoting environmental awareness, but also a movement designed to urge the staff, faculty and students to become more responsible as citizens of the earth.

海星幼兒園踴躍參與非洲掘井計畫捐款活動－愛與善行，彼此關懷的捐款活動。掘井的國家，包括塞內加爾、喀麥隆和波札那三國。

辦理區域性大會。會議由文藻外語大學承辦，會議主題為「『願祢受讚頌』--以吳甦樂教育關懷我們共同的家園」（Laudato Si'：On Care for Our Common Home through Ursuline Education）。在會議期間透過專題演講、生態參訪與相關討論，置重點於吳甦樂教育如何

回應教宗方濟各所頒佈之通諭《願祢受讚頌》（Laudato Si’）。同時透過研討會議，有助於亞太地區吳甦樂各級學校，在此共同議題上發揮一而多的教育力量。
